Since 2015 all UK companies over £36m turnover must adhere to the Transparency in Supply Chains (TISC) provisions. Typical recruiters in our source countries would not be compliant with debt bondage indicators. This poor transparency equates to unethical recruitment which we strongly oppose. We are mindful to ensure that we do not put clients at risk of breaching internationmla protocols on ‘unethical recruitment’ practices.
Ethical Recruitment
We support ethical recruitment and seek to avoid exploitation of workers. Ethical recruitment is the process of engaging a worker fairly, transparently and lawfully. This includes; recruit sourcing, interviews, skills testing and training, negotiation of contracts, and the arrangement of logistics and related to travel and visas. We will ensure our workers are protected throughout the recruitment process obtaining the necessary permits to travel and other pre-departure processes. We will seek to remain involved in the welfare of the worker throughout the life-cycle of their employment.
